[NEWS] 120531 Kim Jae Joong Is Unloved Again

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong became a man of many faces.

Kim Jae Joong appeared as the strongest warrior in Joseon, Kim Kyung Tak, on MBC’s Dr. Jin.

Although it was his first role in a traditional drama, he managed to receive favorable reviews by successfully going back and forth from a serious officer to a sad son born out of wedlock.

He especially gained himself the name of ‘weekend boyfriend’ by being serious and sharp everywhere else but being kind toward his fiancée Young Rae (Park Min Young).

JYJ Kim Jaejoong’s 25 hr stay in Taiwan netted him NT$10,000,000 (~$335,000 USD)

The hosts talked about Jaejoong’s huge popularity, with over 300 fans arriving at the airport to greet him. They also joked that since it was a school day, it’s even more amazing that so many fans were there and that they better be careful and not be caught by their teachers watching this program.

J2 Entertainment News Report: Kim Jaejoong in Dr. Jin

The report is about Jaejoong appearing in his first sageuk drama, Dr. Jin, and covered some key parts of the press conference. Jaejoong was asked if he was given any advice and he said not really but recalled a funny joke Yoochun said to him about how, when filming in summer, the skin on top of his head piece will be lighter than the skin below.

[Fan Projects] «Kim Jaejoong Photo Exhibition in Kobe» Charity Project Report

Part 1 あしなが育英会 (http://www.ashinaga.org/)

Following the 1-year anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Japan, we donated a sum of money towards あしなが育英会. (It is a fund that help supports the orphans from the earthquake) The money came from fans’ donation goods from [Kim Jaejoong Photo Exhibition in Kobe]. This sum of money will be used to fund the orphans’ daily living expenses as well as scholarship for their studies. A part of it will also be used towards ensuring their mental well-being and long-term care.

Part 2 World Vision “Love Loaf” Bread tree project

Remember the donation box placed at the entrace to [Kim Jaejoong Photo Exhibition in Kobe]? At the end of the event, the small donation box was filled to the brim! The donations were all donated to Bread Tree Project promoted by JYJ, mainly to help the African children who are suffering from hunger.

[Fan Project] Kim Jaejoong Exhibition brought food to the set of Dr. Jin

Kim Jaejoong Exhibition is the Jaejoong coalition that curated the 3-day Jaejoong Photo Exhibition that was held in January 2012. More info could be found in our related post and on their website at http://860126.net/

On May 19th, Kim Jaejoong Exhibition went to Dr. Jin’s filming location and provided 120 sets of food and drinks for the cast and crew. They also prepared some snacks (late night meal) for Jaejoong.

Jaejoong kindly thanked the fans and in his second signature, he wrote: “Jackal will come out great.”
